Fahrenheit 451

Seeing the previews for this movie had always made me wonder what it would be like if reading materials were illegal and burned? Does the movie live up to the thoughtfulness of the trailer ? Lets' Discuss!
Guy Montag (Michael B Jordan), is a big, up and comer in the world of fire fighting. In this alternate world, fire fighting is not putting out fires, they burn books. This is because in this story, there was a second civil war. The people that gained control of the country, spread the lie of the "firefighter" to keep control of the country.  On what was supposed to be a typical book bust, they come across a lady that has an incredibly large amount of books. This woman does the brave thing and refuses to leave, and as a result , she burns alive, with her books, to prove that knowledge is power.
The biggest thing I likes about the film was how much peer pressure influences everyone heavily in the society. Example being, when someone is caught with a book, or graffiti, the arrest is publicly. Each people are voted on like pictures on Facebook.
The biggest thing, I did  not like about this movie, was the length. At one hour and forty minutes, it cheapens the Journey that Montag has  between the light and dark. It is just hard to imagine, that after all he had done. If there had been more time to develop, maybe we could have been happy to see the change in side.
In the end, with a little more time and expansion of this story, we could of had something special.
