Arrested Development Season 5

Image
*photo from uproxx.com*      So, it has been about 5 years since the release of the last season of the show. For many people season 4 was the weakest of the bunch. So much so that creator Mitch Hurwitz and Netflix completely re-edited the season, which made it better, in my opinion. So, did the five years off help?      The show picks up where the last season left off. The entire season revolves around the fallout of the disappearance, or  perhaps, death of Lucille Austero (Liza Minnelli).  Michael and George- Michael ( Jason Bateman and Michael Cera) are still dealing with the fallout of George - Michael punching his father in the face.  GOB is on a mission to find himself, of sorts, after spending the night with Tony Wonder (Ben Stiller). He is now struggling with whether or not he is gay. Meanwhile, Lindsay (Portia de Rossi), has her sights on becoming "part of the problem", and running for government office. Tobias (David Cross)

So as  May comes to an end, we start  June on a bit of a slower weekend.    First we have "ActionPoint", which stars Johnny Knoxville as a man that is attempting to save his theme park from going under. With Knoxville in the lead role we can expect goofy antics and some crazy stunts.   Next on the list is "Adrift", starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. This story revolves around two young sailors that are in the middle of sailing to California when they get caught in a category five hurricane. How do you survive that?   To round out the the weekend, we have the action film "Upgrade" .  The film stars Logan Marshall-Green as man that is left paralyzed after a brutal attack on him and his wife. He made it, and unfortunately  she did not. He gets a chance for revenge, when he gets a chip surgically put in his back that gives him some interesting abilities.

Trailer of the Week- The Sisters Brothers

Image
This week my choice is "Sisters Brothers". The story revolves around Charlie and Eli Sisters (Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly).  They are career criminals, with Eli looking to get them out of the game and to start a convenient store. The story picks up with the brothers going after Herman (Riz Ahmed), a chemist prospector that has stole something from their employer.      What interested me about this film was Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly playing brothers. It is a very unlikely pairing that looks like it pays off. It is also a western comedy that looks good, without getting strange like "Million Ways to Die in the West". The film drops sometime in the fall.

Westworld Season 2 episodes 5 and 6

Image
*photo from Westworldwatchers.com*     So, I do apologize, for missing the last episode. I did put it aside in favor of "13 reasons why". Then I planned on doing it over the week, but I had some serious review fatigue. When it comes to the review tonight, I will focus more on this episode, with some throwbacks to the previous episode and see how it goes.    Episode six had many things to juggle this episode. This time around, they had all storylines to juggle in the hour of this weeks episode. When it came to the story of William ( Ed Harris), it focused on him and his relationship with his daughter. They have had a checkered past, to say the least, and it seems by the end of their night conversation, things were going to head in the right direction. When she wakes up though, she finds that her father has left without her. it will be interesting to see if their conversation has any impact on him in the last four episodes.   Moving onto Dol

Solo

Image
We have come to the highly anticipated release of "Solo".  Now the question remains, was it worth all the fuss?  A quick back story, originally Phil Lord and Chris Miller were hired to direct the film and actually completed most of it, supposedly. One day we woke up to find out they had been let go, even though they were able to keep their executive producer credits. Soon after, it was revealed that Ron Howard was going to be taking over. The question we will have for a while, is how much of the film was reshot on top of what was left to do?     This film tells the story of how Han Solo meets his iconic friends Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian. It also set him on the path to becoming the   rebel fighter he does in the original trilogy.     I think my biggest plus for this movie is the fact that it has two different directors and the tone stays the same. In the recent time, there was "Justice League" catastrophe. With two different directors, Zac Snyder and Joss

It has come to that time of year where we get our yearly Star Wars movie. This year we get "Solo",  the Han Solo origin story. There have been a lot of eyes on this film. It surrounds the replacing of Phil lord and Chris Miller with Ron Howard towards the end of production. A concern of mine, was the mixing of the two directing styles in the same film. The horrifying, recent example of this, was "Justice League".  There were disastrous results with that one.    On top of that, form the beginning there were a lot of people that were hesitant towards this movie in the first place. We will see what happens this weekend!

Trailer of the week- City of Lies

Image
For my trailer of the week there were a few good candidates. It is surprising that, out of all of the trailers I could not get a Johnny Depp movie out of my head. The movie has Johnny Depp as the lead investigator of the Tupac and Notorious BIG murders. The film also stars Forest Whitaker as a reporter looking for the truth.   The reason I chose this film, was simply that I watched the trailer, and I did not hate it. This does not happen a lot with Depp anymore.  The film is set for release on September 7th.

13 reasons why season 2 - A Look Back

Image
*Photo from mtv.com*     I do apologize that my mini- reviews were a bit dis - jointed. I am going to attempt to do somewhat of a complete over look now that I have finished the show.  There were several things that I did like about this show.  The one thing that I absolutely loved about this season was the show took on the #me too movement. The importance of this in this culture now was great. It did not even try to sugar  coat what happens, when it comes to what happens in reality. In real life rich white guys do tend to get off pretty easy when it comes to rape sentences. The other way, in terms of Chloe, the girlfriend of Bryce, gets disillusioned, by reality and stays with Bryce. According to Anne Winters, who played her, she believes that her character stays because of the validation she receives by being with him.     Another thing I thought was important, and great that was covered was the trial. Even without the trial, when som

13 reasons why season 2- Episodes 12 and 13

Well, we have done it we have made it to the end. This episode brought us the testimony of Justin Foley. And as the rest of the series goes, he got torn apart on the stand. This episode also brought on the closing arguments, so we get to wait and see what happens. This episode also includes the massive hunt for the polaroids, but no one seems to know where. A high point of this episode was trying to humanize Bryce Walker. It was a very well acted scene by Justin Prentice. To be able to nail Bryce for good Jessica went to the police and told her story.  The final big thing of the episode was the verdict for the case that had been going all season. I could not say that I am surprised that happened the layer the school had was destroying everyone. The final moments of the episode saw both Bryce and Justin arrested for Jessica's sexual assult.    The finale is more of an epilogue to the season. It opens up with the sentacing of Bryce Walker. It mirrored what happened a lot in r

In episode 10 Tony takes the stand.  He had been very scared of taking the stand because he sees that it could possibly blow up in everyone's face. He is someone who thought that he would have to be a martyr for the cause. Come to find out, Tony (Christian Navarro) was on the run from the police for an assault and Hannah hid him at the movie theater she was at    Clay and Justin make a move to infiltrate the "Clubhouse".  Clay finds out that Zach is the one that has been secretly giving him the polaroids.    For episode 11 Bryce takes the stand and says that him and Hannah were a bit of a thing. The day of the rape, Bryce claimed that it was consensual. Everyone throws him a party for lying. Clay is devastated over this and is needing to know what was true. To me it seems like his process to get over  her.   Chloe (Anne Winters) has started to come to side of the bakers when she was shown the polaroids of her being raped. When she got up to the stand, it seemed l

13 reasons why Season 2- Episodes 8 and 9

Episode 8 deals with the fallout of the releases of Hannah's suicide tapes.  Some of it good, some of it real bad. With the court, both of Hannah's parents took the stand. Neither of them could really convey the love that was needed for the court. It came out that Andy (Brian d'Arcy James) had an affair while Hannah was alive and she caught him. This sent her deeper into a depressive spiral.      The next episode took on the teachers of Liberty high. It also deals with the many secrets of all of the characters across the board.  Mr. Porter was grilled heavily about what happened when Hannah came to his office on the day of her death. It was then dropped in court that Bryce was the rapist.     One thing I really liked about this episode,  it answers  one thing, that was criticized heavily about the first season. It answers the argument as to whether or not Hannah is actually a martyr for the cause. I really respect them for taking that on the hate. GRADE: B+

13 reasons why season 2- Episodes 6 and 7

Image
Episode 6 centers arounds the story of Zach (Ross Butler). It comes out that him and Hannah had a relationship that nobody knew about.  Zach has tremendous guilt that once school started he acted like he was  embarrassed about their relationship. Outside of the court somebody broke into Clay's house and stole a still unknown object.  Justin (Brandon Flynn) was discovered living in Clay's house.      Episode 7 centers around Clay taking the stand for the sake of trying to show Hannah as the good person, her parents believed her to be.This as everything else has backfired, in this case. It was discovered that at a party, Hannah had told clay how depressed she really was, and he did nothing. Also, in this episode it was a lot about Hannah's parents and their relationship coming to a close. The final part of the episode saw the release of the tapes to the public.    Overall, pretty good episodes. The story with Zach made him feel like more of a complete character

Fahrenheit 451

Image
Seeing the previews for this movie had always made me wonder what it would be like if reading materials were illegal and burned? Does the movie live up to the thoughtfulness of the trailer ? Lets' Discuss!      Guy Montag (Michael B Jordan), is a big, up and comer in the world of fire fighting. In this alternate world, fire fighting is not putting out fires, they burn books. This is because in this story, there was a second civil war. The people that gained control of the country, spread the lie of the "firefighter" to keep control of the country.  On what was supposed to be a typical book bust, they come across a lady that has an incredibly large amount of books. This woman does the brave thing and refuses to leave, and as a result , she burns alive, with her books, to prove that knowledge is power.      The biggest thing I likes about the film was how much peer pressure influences everyone heavily in the society. Example being, when someone is caught with a b

13 Reasons Why Season 2 Episode 4 and 5

As we move along in the story, everyone is getting their chance to testify. This episode, it is Marcus (Steven Silver) gets his run. Marcus is scared of his father, and disappointing him. In the five months  since the first season he as also gotten into Harvard. During the trial Marcus implies that Hannah had a thing for Bryce to get him out of the rape questions.     Outside of the court Olivia (Kate Walsh) seems to not have the confidence in the case that she once dreamed of. She is starting to think that her way out for the case would be criminal case against Bryce. The return of Justin (Brandon Flynn) to talk about with what happened the night of "the party".     In the following episode Ryan (Tommy Dorfman) takes the stand. It is revealed that Hannah was in contact with Justin after the incident, and wrote poetry about it. The opposing council tries to use it to say that she asked for her problems. Ryan believes that these poems were a call for help.    These e

Showdogs

Image
We have come to the point in the weekend where I take  on the talking dogs.        This is a pretty simple story. Max (Chis Bridges), is a police dog with an anger problem. After botching a rescue operation for a baby panda bear, him and Frank ( Will Arnett) are forced to partner up and go to Las Vegas to take down the bad guys.        I' m not even sure where to start with this. On the plus side,  this movie should be able to entertain the very small... but having said that, it doesn't take much.  When it comes to the, dogs, who for a lot of the film where CGI. These dogs, were just so terrible, it made the dogs from "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" look Oscar worthy. Nothing about the dogs in show dogs looks real.  Unfortunately, the script is not any better, when it comes to quality. There are so many cringe, or eye-ball rolling worthy lines, that are going for the joke, and makes it fall flat. I swear that it almost seemed Arnett was embarrassed to be ther

13 Reasons Why Season 2 Episode - 2 and 3

Image
As we go along perception seems to continue to be the key. In episode 2 Courtney (Michele Ang)  took the stand to defend Hannah about their make out session that was photographed. In episode 3 it was Jessica (Alisha Boe) that goes up and says that she is experiencing serious cyber bullying like Hannah did. All while this is going on Clay is trying to deal with the feelings he still has for Hannah while still going out with Skye (Sosie Bacon). Skye ends up dumping Clay, and he goes into a bit of a tailspin.   I apologize for the terribly vague recap, but here we go. Having finished three episodes so far it is hard to figure out really what is the purpose of this season is yet. So far there is no focus on wherever they are going with this season. Secondly, I don't feel like it has turned melodramatic yet, but its not far off. Finally, I don't think that giving the real truth about what happened during the events of season 1 helps complete the story. I mentioned in my first

13 Reasons Why- Season 2 Episode 1

Image
So the wait is now over, season 2 has officially been released. The big thing is how would this show change, when there was nothing more to base it off of?   This season opens up with the start of the civil trial. The first person up was Tyler (Devin Druid), he is the one that could open up how bad the school bullying is.   The big thing about this season seems to be perception. It gives a new look on the things that happened during the first season. Personally, I feel like this could end up making things very convoluted. It does risk completely undoing the power of the first season.    The other thing that will take some getting used to was Hannah (Katherine Langford) is no longer the narrator. It also seems like Clay (Dylan Minnette) seems to have a reduced role.    In the end, it is a different look into this show. Hopefully. it can keep the power of season 1. GRADE:B-

Deadpool 2

Image
The question going into this movie is what path, will this movie follow, the way of "Iron Man" or "Captain America" when it comes to the sequel? Lets discuss!       As the movie opens we find out that Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) has been using his new "powers" to his advantage, in the hit man industry. When tragedy occurs, this takes Wade to the X-men.  During his time with them, he comes across Russel,  a troubled mutant that reminds him of himself. Along comes Cable ( Josh Brolin). His mission, to kill Russel, cue the Deadpool vs Cable mega fight.     First of all the movie, is very funny, personally, I laughed at most things.  This may be nit picky, but there was a time towards the end, where the jokes seemed to be too much. When it came to the action portion of the  film, it is a lot of fun. The problem that had with it, was the computer graphic imagery lacked in several of the scenes.    Ryan Reynolds is great as Deadpool, I would go as f

Book Club

Image
When you bring a cast together such as this one, a lot of times you have to worry about the quality of the film. From "Movie 43" to "Valentine's Day" showed you could get a great cast but not much else. So how does this film measure up to those? Lets discuss!    For their entire adult lives a group of four friends have gotten together to discuss their book of the month. They are now "older in life", and each feels like they are stuck in that proverbial rut. So how do you fix this problem? You introduce "Fifty Shades" into the group.    Diane (Diane Keaton) feels smothered by her kids desire to protect her. After the death of her husband, she just wants to live her life. Vivian (Jane Fonda), has thrived as a single, very successful woman her entire life. Sharon ( Candice Bergen) has never been able to put her self out there since her divorce.  Finally, Carol (Mary Steenburgen) has been married to the same guy for thirty-five years, a

But the question on a lot of peoples minds is, how will they return?   For those who have not watched it since it premiered last March, I am going to attempt to recap it for you, in a brief way. The show opens shortly after the death of Hannah Baker. In this opening episode, Clay is given a set of tapes, which he finds out holds the reasons that Hannah was no longer, willing to live. As Clay makes his way through these tapes, he comes across the horrible things that the people of this school have done to her. Some of these things include her friends alienating her, someone,  she likes starting a huge sexual rumor about her, and being raped.    While Clay is learning about all of what had going on he starts to make waves in the school. People do not like this, especially the ones named in the tapes. He starts to g

The summer  is now in full swing. This week brings us the second superhero film of the summer. Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool. The trailer  has Deapool going up against Cable, with the formation of the X-force. Part of me feels the wool is being pulled over our eyes in some sense when it comes  to the plot of this movie. Whatever happens, the movie will sure to be huge.   The next release of the week comes in the form of "Book Club". This film is about how a book club  that helps to reinvigorate their lives. Oh and the movie has the likes of Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Craig T. Nelson, and Don Johnson. It is something that could be good.    The final choice comes in the form of a talking dog movie. The movie is about a macho Rottweiler, who happens to be a cop. His mission is to go undercover at a dog pageant.   Whatever you choose, enjoy!

13 reasons why- Romancing Suicide

Image
*photo from studybreaks.com*    With season 2 of "13 reasons why" gearing up for release this Friday, and my utmost desire to expand the blog, I thought why not take on this new season. My first crack at this is gunna be more of a psychological look at this show. One thing that this show has been accused of from the beginning is saying suicide is the best option. For those who have not seen the show, it centers around a recently deceased girl, Hannah Baker, who had killed her self and left a set of tapes, detailing the reasons as to why she did it.    First, in terms of when it comes to times when bullying can hit the hardest, it is in  high school. This is where, if your not careful, will beat you until you can not come back. When it comes to this story, the bad things begin with rumors and general egos getting in the way. Things just escalate from there.   With the end being suicide, for Hannah, the question is does it inspire people to follow tha

Trailer of the Week- The House that Jack Built

Image
Lars Von Trier has been known for some very prolific films throughout the years, including "Anti-Christ" and "Nymphomaniac".  This time around, he has recruited Matt Dillion for the title role of, you can guess, Jack.  Jack is a serial killer, that seems to get away with everything he does, no matter if he screws up or not. This film does seem a bit more wacky than his last few, but time will tell. "The House that Jack Built" is currently waiting for a US release date.

Westworld Season 2 episode 4

Image
*photo from nytimes.com*      This week I am going to go a different way in how I write my review. I am going to go through all of the episode, make it more of a recap plus review, and see how it comes out.      This episode brings us back to the man in black (Ed Harris) and Bernard (Jeff Wright).  After the battle that Bernard witnessed with Delores, he is dragged to a cave tied up. Little did he know, it was next to Elsie Hughes (Shannon Woodard), who was chained up in the cave. For those who have forgotten, Elise disappeared about half way through the first season while she was exploring an unused floor are in Westworld. She, at first, was very afraid of Bernard, because he was the one that put her there. They enter a secret lab, to try and fix Bernard and come across Westworld's biggest secret. Westworld is putting the consciousness of humans into the body of the hosts.    Throughout the episode, it shifts to the Man in black  story

Classics Review- The Matrix

Image
*photo from msu.edu*   With this movie, I am not sure it falls too much into the classics genre. I suppose though, if you look at it in terms of science fiction, I guess, it could be looked at as a classic. So here we go, a dive into the 1999 film, "The Matrix".    Neo ( Keanu Reeves), lives the double life, one as a computer programer for a big company. The other being a computer hacker for the criminal underworld. What drove Neo was that he always thought there was more out there for him than the life that he had. His life would begin to change the night he goes to a club and meets Trinity (Carrie- Ann Moss), and she tells him there is more than the life he has. She takes him to meet Morpheus ( Lawerence Fishburne), who gives him the choice choice as to be "reborn" or to stay in the life that he currently has. He obviously, choses to reborn. He is trained by the crew of the ship he ends up on, the Nebu

Breaking In

Image
*photo from breakinginmovie.com*  When I had first heard of this film, to be honest, it was hard to get past when it said "From the producer of "No Good Deed."" It was just gunna be another entry in the pg-13 thrillers that goes no where. When I found out that it was directed by James McTeigue, who directed "V for Vendetta", so maybe it might be good?    Gabrielle Union stars as Shaun, a mom of two that goes to her deceased father's house to start the process of selling it, but oh, its also the same day that four criminals come to take four million dollars from the home. Oh, and the kids are taken, making it less about the money.   The biggest thing that was so terribly annoying about this movie was the multiple uses of the slow motion shots. In movies these shot don't work. When they are used, they are so terribly cheesy, it takes me out of the film.     Another big thing, for a thriller, there was a

Life of the Party

Image
*photo from commonsensemedia.org*      It seems like every two years we get a Melissa McCarthy movie directed by her husband Ben Falcone. In 2014 we got "Tammy", in 2016 we got "The Boss", and now in 2018  we get "Life of the Party". One thing the first two films have in common is the lack of quality, unfortunately. So does this new one change things?     In this film, McCarthy stars as Deanna, a newly divorced mother of a college student. She is looking for something that will reinvigorate her life, but what to do? Why not join her daughter for their senior year together?    To me, I feel the biggest thing that works for this film, the chemistry between McCarthy and Mollie Gordon was strong. Gordon played her daughter in the film. Throughout the film, it was the thing that was the strongest, and most believable.     When it comes to the negatives I have with the film, comes from the script.  To sta

Trailer of the week- Never goin' Back

Image
This week, again, I head to the indy circuit with "Never Goin' Back".  The film centers around Angela (Maia  Mitchell) and Jessie (Camilla Morrone). The girls are wanting to have a week at the beach, but life keeps getting in the way, like rent or getting robbed.    The film comes from first time director Augustine Frizzell, and the A24 production company. What drew me to this first was A24. They consistently put out great movies on the smaller budget. Second, I like movies that are hard hitting and real. I will flock to something that captures real life.   We will see if A24 continues its quality on August 3.

Mother's Day weekend has come!! As with every Mother's Day weekend  we get mother centered movies.     First comes the thriller, "Breaking In". It stars Gabrielle Union as a mother who is trying to rescue her children from a group of home invaders. It is from director James McTeigue, who directed "V for Vendetta" and "The Raven".    This week also brings us a comedy, in the way of "Life of the Party". This movie has Mellisa McCarthy as a recently divorced mother, who decides to accompany her daughter to college, so she can complete  her long delayed degree. It is directed by  McCarthy's husband Ben Falcone. He has directed a few of her other films "Tammy" and "The Boss".   So with your choices, they are on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, either comedy or thriller. I would like to say Happy Mothers day to all the mothers that happen to read me. Enjoy your movie and mother weekend!

West World Season 2 Episode 3

Image
*photo from vulture.com*      Onto the third chapter of season 2, where do you go? Well, to a place they had yet to go, outside of west world. Leaving west world was teased in the premiere episode, with the dead tiger in west world.   The episode opens with park six known as "the raj". It gives us the pretext as to how the tiger ended up in the shores of west world. It is a nice tease as to what possibly could happen in outside worlds. After this, the focus of the episode, goes to where is Peter Abernathy? Abernathy has been captured by rogue hosts, when Bernard (Jeff Wright) and  Hale (Tessa Thompson) come across him. To try to get him free they trick the kidnappers and get Abernathy out. Hale screams "help me" and draws one of them out. He is knocked out by Bernard and reprogramed. The host goes back and kills most of the other hosts, allowing Abernathy to escape. This lasts only for a moment, because Abernathy

classic reviews- Heathers

Image
*photo from uproxx.com*      For the next review in my classics series I took on a film that I had never seen before. As you see I have selected the 1988 film " Heathers".      The film centers around Veronica (Winona Ryder), she is known as a "good girl". This is until she is recruited into the heathers clique. This is the kind of group that runs a high school. They are also the people that are cruel to everyone that is no them. With her short time in the group, she had begun to resent who she has become, and wants out. She thinks the best way to go about doing this? She seeks the help of the renegade kid JD (Christian Slater). You quickly realize, what each of them want is two separate things.   Off the top I can say that, in terms of the technical aspect of it, was shot well, and put together as well too.    My final positive would be on the aspect of the script that I liked. I thought it able to convey what peer pressure can g

Overboard

Image
*photo from variety.com*      To round out the triple feature there is the remake of "Overboard", the remake of a 1987 one of the same name. This time around the gender roles have switched.     Kate (Anna Faris), is a single mother of three girls and is working two jobs to make ends meet. This is all while trying to become a nurse. On the opposite side there is Leo (Eugenino Derbez) a rich heir with no responsibilities. The two first meet, when she is cleaning the carpet of his yacht. When she refuses to get him the fruit he asks for, he throws her cleaning equipment off the yacht, resulting in her being fired. Later that night, Leo accidentally falls off his  yacht and losses his memory. Kate sees this on the news and fakes being his wife to use him for more income, while she takes time to take her final exam to become a nurse.      I think, probably the biggest positive out of the whole film, is the chemistry betwee

Tully

Image
*photo from npr.com*     Next on my list of triple feature list is "Tully".  The movie reunites writer Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman on their third  writer/director collaboration. The question that always comes to my mind is, does this compare to "Juno"?    Reitman teams up with Charlize Theron, who they previously worked on "young adult" together. Theron plays Marlo a mother of two, with a third on the way. The film shows how stressed and hard worked she is. Once the third child comes along, she reaches her tipping point. Her brother (Mark Duplass) suggests hiring a night nurse. In comes Tully ( Mackenzie Davis), to make things all better.    The first thing to praise about this film is the performance of Charlize Theron. She brings such a strength to the character, and when she is at her lowest you can really feel it.      Another thing to praise is the writing of the film, for the most part.

Bad Samaritan

Image
*photo from nerdist.com*    I do apologize for the delay of my reviews. The mall I view the movies I review at, had a shooting. I did a triple feature tonight, but as you see I am back, and starting with the "Bad Samaritan". So, here we go!   The plot of this film is pretty simple, two valets, Sean (Robert Sheehan) and Derek ( Carlito Sandoval), rob people through their valet job. One night, this man with a very nice car (David Tennant), was not very nice to these guys. Their thought on how to get revenge, is to rob him. Sean gets to his house, using the cars GPS, and finds, shall we say, more than he bargained for. The catch is, Cale (Tennant), caught on to them, and has plans of his own.   One notable thing about this film is director Dean Devlin.  For the readers who don't know who that is, he is the director of last years much hated "GeoStorm". So the question is, did he overcome his first film blunders, and

You release three films where there is only one that barely scratches a 2000 total theater count.      The first trailer is that of "Tully". This film stars Charlize Theron, as a mom, that is tired of being tired and she wants a change. Her solution, is to hire a night nurse.      The second trailer is that of "Overboard" staring Anna Faris and Eugnio Derbez. This is a remake of the 1987 film of the same name with Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn. This time the gender roles are switched.      The final trailer is "Bad Samaritian". This film stars David Tennant as a serial killer, who teaches a couple thief's its not right to break into peoples houses.    So what will your choice be? Go with something new or just go back to Avengers again?                        Sound off in the comments!

Trailer of the Week- Leave No Trace

This week for my trailer of the week, I am going to the indie circuit. One thing that got me, is that it is written and directed by Debra Granik. For the people that do not know, she is also the writer and director of the movie "Winter's Bone". I will always stand by that it is Jenifer Lawrence's best movie. Sorry, I am getting off point though. The film stars Ben Foster as Will, a man that lives in the woods for years, with his daughter. They get caught by the authorities, and thrown back into "normal society". Personally, I love strong human stories, and that is what interests me about this film. As of right now, there is no U.S. release, but is expected sometime this summer.
