A look Back: Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2
*Photo from collider.com*
We have to nearly the eighteen year anniversary of this much "loved" film. This is the first time thst I have crossed paths with it, " fresh eyes" are now upon it. Why do I watch movies like this? So you do not have to. Let's discuss one of the worst sequels ever made.
The film follows, five people fixated on "The Blair Witch Project," the movie. After a film set tour, perception grows increasingly uncertain as the night they spend together after the tour becomes more than they can bargain for.
First of all, not to get off track, but I found it quite hilarious that it seemed like the film, "Human Centipede 2". Both basis start with the obsession over the original film. This is the quality we have here.
I would like to further discuss the story, here. I feel like it made no sense. After the events of the tour bad thing start to happen with no real explanation as to what was going on, than it ended. So you say, maybe it is scary? I am sad to inform you, the scares were actually very much hilarious. The biggest reason on for this would be the acting. There is not a single good performance through the entire movie. That made several line deliveries were so bad, they came off as hilarious.
I would say skip this film and go to the 2016 sequel.
