Three Identical Strangers

As my year of documentary film watching continues, I have come across something of an insane story.
The story revolves around identical triplets that became separated at birth. They reunite after ninteen years. This reunion blows up on a global scale but the consequences of looking for answers brings  repercussions.
What I liked about this, was how much it felt like an investigative piece. The way it reveals shocking detail after shocking detail in a well paced 96 minutes.  The content is what sells this film for me. Siblings do get separated when it comes to being adopted. When it comes to these three, the cover up that comes along with this, is astounding.
Something that makes a great documentary is the people that are in the film itself. If they are there conveying real, true emotion it will sell the story. Before this year, my experience with documentaries. Watching this one, the footage gotten with the brothers was indescribable. The pain that was conveyed was something that could be felt. I do not feel much when it comes to film and it's desire to convey emotion. This one got me good.
There is not much to say, but best documentary of 2018.
