Gods of Egypt

To be honest I am not sure where to even start when it comes to this movie. Going into it I was not really expecting this to wow and well...., it was something.
Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is god of the air and is about to take the throne of Egypt when Set (Gerard Butler) comes in and overthrows, sending Horus into hiding.
Meanwhile Bek (Brenton Thwaites), a mortal is enslaved under the rule of Set, decides to act to change things.
It is hard to start with what exactly bugged me most about this film. One thing that was very noticable was how white people of Egypt actually are. Another thing was for a movie that really focuses on the use of computer generated imagery, especially when it comes to the chariot rides and god transformations. Finally, the story seemed to be about the same as the "Clash of the Titans" series, so I would very much expect a sequel if it does well.
