War Room
I always feel bad when I bash a christian movie but I know I have watched better. Most of the time when it comes to religious movies they always seem to jam one particular part of the christian lifestyle down the throat of the viewer. This time it is the power of prayer.
Liz (Priscilla Shirer) is a successful real estate agent who would seem to have it all good job, family and a nice home but her marriage to Tony (T.C.Stallings) is in shambles for a variety of different reasons. They have a daughter Danielle (Alena Pitts) caught in the proverbial cross fire. Liz goes to sell the house of Miss Clara (Karen Ambercrombie). As Miss Clara shows Liz the house she gathers that Liz needs help. After first being reluctant she agrees to allow Miss Clara to teach her that her life can be fixed through the power of prayer.
At a running time of 2 hours I believe it could have easily cut about twenty minutes out of it. To me the Kendrick's are on the stronger side of religious film making and to me out of all of them this is their weakest entry yet.
